Happy 6 Months Lennon Rose!

So Lennon is officially 6 months old today...crazy!! It seems like it flew by, but I have enjoyed every single minute of it. She is an awesome baby, although she did learn how to throw a fit...arched back and all! She started to sleep in her crib through the night...and it is going pretty well. She is eating veggies, and loves them! She had her first fruit last night...peaches. She didn't know what to think about them at first, but once she realized that she liked them, she got to business. She had her 6 month check up, and here are her stats...18 lbs 8 oz (95th percentile), 27" long (95 percentile...and I got a kick out of the paper the nurse gave me...it said 2 feet 3 inches...just thought it was kinda weird to put on a babies height) and her head circimference is 44cm (97th percentile). She is getting sooo big....and sooo darn cute. She finally rolled over all by herself...well, atleast I think she did...I left her on the ground in the living room on her back, and got back from the other room and she was on her tummy playing with a toy...so I am saying she rolled over. I was at Target last night, and decided to get her a present and picked out a inflatable pink duck bath tub...it is so cute, so here she is in her new bath tub....Happy 1/2 Birthday Baby!

Lennon's First Easter

We went to my uncles house for easter. All of my family goes, and we all have "linner" and play badminton and horseshoes...it is alot of fun. Lennon got her basket full of eggs that had pacifiers in them! She loved to put the eggs in her mouth. She also got to experience Sugar Free Jello on Easter...I am not sure if it is the "right" thing to give a baby, but it was only a little bit, and it was hilarious to watch her "slurp" it up! It was pretty much a chill sort a day...we ate, we played, we went home and watched some tv. Heres a few pictures...

Sucking on a Easter Egg.

WIth her Bunny Ears on.

Just being cute!

San Fransisco...

On Saturday, Matt and I decided to take a trip to San Fransisco. We wanted to go to the Zoo there. We had a great time looking at all the animals...and Lennon was soo happy. She loves to walk around in the baby backpack. We had some lunch there, and then decided to go drive up and down Lombard, and then go hang out at Fishermans Wharf. The Wharf was pretty busy, so we walked up and down the different piers, and then went and had dinner at Swiss Louis, an Italian seafood restaurant. It was really good, although walking back to our car, we pasted a restaurant called the Crab House, and we definitely should have went there! It smelt awesome, and we both love crab. We walked back to our car and headed home. All and all, it was probably the best day of the year so far (wedding excluded!). Here are some pictures...sorry Robin...I couldn't fit all 82!

A Toast to US...

At our wedding, we had a special person, Rick, give us a super special toast...Here it is...

You might say that it's been a wonderfully Magical Mystery Tour for Matt and Ashley to get here today. But the ups and downs and sideways of The Long and Winding Road have allowed us to all Come Together on this beautiful celebration to share the Love of the Loved. Yesterday This Boy, a real Mother Nature's Son, was mostly interested in fishing or playing the guitar. But I Should Have Known Better, because Ashley came into his life (and there is not truth to the rumor that She Came In Through the Bathroom Window). But To Know Her is to Love Her (Ain't She Sweet). And Matt, it is obvious that She Loves You (yea, yea, yea), and Let It Be remembered that All You Need is Love. And although this a A Day in the Life of Matt and Ashley unlike any other, I've Got a Feeling that Here Comes the Sun to shine on a beautiful future together. And if you two ever need Help in this Helter Skelter world, You Know What to Do; we will always be here for you, even When I'm Sixty-Four.
Well I Don't Want to Spoil the Party, so here's wishing the two of you,
Strawberry Fields Forever.

If you didn't quite get it (don't feel bad...it took a while for some people to get it at the wedding too!), the bold words are Beatle's song titles. The Beatles is one of our favorite bands. A particular band member even gave us our daughters name, (John)Lennon.

Rick, you have no idea how much this toast meant to us. It was by far one of the most memorable hi-lights to our wedding...and we thank you (and Janice and Alicia and James!) for being part of our wedding and our lives! We love you...you guys are the best!

Peas Please!

Last night, Lennon had her first Stage 1 Veggies...PEAS! She loved them. I am not sure if you are supposed to feed a baby the whole container of food, but I did, and to be honest, she probably would have eaten another container too! After she ate, she got her bath, and went to bed. She slept in her crib, in her room, all night along. She didn't wake up till about 8:30am! Hopefully, this was not a one night occasion...we will see tonight...but, man, I miss her being in her bassinet right next to me! My baby girl is growing up!!!
There are a lot of pictures...I couldn't decide which ones to put up, so you get all!

Eating the container.

Getting all the peas off of her.

Waiting semi-patiently.

Feeding herself...what a big girl!

Not waiting patiently at all!

All done...yummy...tonight's menu is carrots!
